The Chandrapur Distict Police has traced 25 stolen motor vehicles using Motor Vehicle Co-ordination System.

The Motor Vehicle Co-ordination System is the on-line, web enabled system, using this system the stolen, recovered and involved vehicles in crime can be traced. This is available on official website of NCRB, MHA, New Delhi at www.ncrb.nic.in for Police Investigation Officers, RTO Officers (while transferring vehicles to other RTO of transfer of ownership) as well as Public convenience. In this system one can trace/match the vehicle on Registration No., Chassis No. and Engine No. etc.
